NFA Season Review - Youth Competitions

NFA Youth League

Scott Problems' Grabimbyda Scrufoviznek managed to defend his Youth League title this season comfortably, finishing the season 12 points clear of the chasing pack. The real battle was for second place in this league, with Dynamo Dragons, led by Jonathan Ditcher, pipping Dave Parrett's Hammers United FC by a single point at the end of the season.

This season's player of the season was, by some distance, Mario Balotelli of Grabimbyda Scrufoviznek. In his final season at underage level Balotelli managed 33 goals in just 19 appearances, and consistently put in top-notch performances all season long.

The goal of the season meanwhile goes to this thunderbolt volley from Jorge Obregón of Oracle.

NFA Youth Cup

In the Youth Cup Scott Problems' Grabimbyda Scrufoviznek emerged victorious with a 3-1 win over Dave Parrett's Hammers United FC in the final. This confirmed Scott's men as the top youth team in the history of the NFA as they toppled the defending champions to claim the youth double!

The player of the tournament was Gil Blumstein of Spartaq Sedgley who put in a number of top-notch performances in his team's run to the Quarter Final.

The award for goal of the tournament goes to this excellent strike from Sandecja Nowy Sacz Márcio, as he picked up the loose bal in his own half, powered through the middle of the park and showed great composure to slot the ball coolly into the net.
