Friendly Focus: XEFA Lobby Cup

Friendly Focus is a new feature at the Cloughite where we will take a look at some of the best run friendly competitions in the world.

First up is the XEFA Lobby Cup, hosted by Liam Spence's Harlow Town FC at Barrows Farm. Recently completing it's 9th season the XELC is one of the longest running friendly competitions in the world. It is a private competition for members of the Xtreme Evening Football Association who participate in the federations' lobby area.

This season's final saw Ryan Clamp's Nottingham Forest 1865 take on RockSteady FC, managed by Paul Stead, in a closely fought encounter which saw Forest claim the XELC trophy for the first time with a 2-1 victory, denying Paul Stead the opportunity to reclaim the trophy his club previously won in season 7.
