Media Deals Agreed

Media deals for the coming season were announced today, with over £725 million on the table in total, a small reduction from last season's media package. Once again, the XEFA negogiated the strongest package for their members, but their position as the top federation was weakened significantly, suffering a £0.03m/club drop. The big gainers this season were the AEFA and CWA, whose media deals increased by £0.03m per member club.

Overall UFFA membership was static, remaining at 709, but the number of inactive clubs in the union rose to 187 (26%) -- an increase of 3% from season 6's figures.
