Media Deals Agreed

Media deals for the coming season were announced today, with over £730 million on the table in total, over £50m more than last season's media package. This year the XEFA negogiated the strongest package for their members, in a deal worth £1.14m per club. Most federations, however, saw a decrease in the relative value of their media deals per member, with the EEFA coming off the worst -- losing £30k per club compared to last season's deal.

Overall UFFA membership has grown by 60 teams since last season, but the number of inactive clubs in the union rose to 166, or 23% of all union members -- an increase of 4% from season 5's figures.
